GERMANY'S EXTREME RIGHT WING GROUPS AND NEO NAZI PROMPT CANCELLATION OF GERMANY-ISRAEL MATCH

If anyone doubted how dangerous neo-nazi groups are becoming, the canceled match between Isreal and Germany should leave no doubt as to the future, and present, risks the groups pose.

The match was called off when a busload of neo-nazis was said to be making their way to the game. The news prompted the cancellation to avoid violence at the game.  The game was to take place in Austria, but the German extremists were traveling from Germany just to make their presence known, and probably to sow mayhem.

Some of the neo nazis en route to the games were members of Inferno, a group that has exhibited antisemitic signs and sang racist songs at matches before.  They were banned from other matches in Germany for inciting violence and racist slurs. Their presence in youth soccer training camps is prompting an active scrutiny from the German government to reduce indoctrination of young people.
